A youth jury of six young critics from Unge stemmer has seen Heddadagene's program with around 40 different performances, and from this nominated three performances for the Unge stemmer festival prize . The winner is the performance that has given them the strongest artistic experience. The prize is awarded for the first time this year, during the Hedda Prize ceremony.

The winner of the Young Voices Festival Award went to the performance 15 years , Det Norske Teatret . Congratulations!

Criteria

In total, the jury has seen all the performances on Heddadagene's program, as published earlier this spring. These are performances from both host theaters in Oslo, and guest performances from all over the country. The festival program has consisted of both new and older performances from the theaters' programs.

The nominations must consist of at least one performance from a host theater, and at least one guest performance.

NOMINEE AND WINNER:

The jury's reasoning: It talks about July 22 in a way that touches and engages us.

NOMINATED:

Heimert , Touring Theatre in Trøndelag, shown on Vega stage.

The jury's reasoning: A cozy story with fantastic actors, which took us to the village.

NOMINATED:

Good luck, Cathrine Frost! , Det Andre Teatret, shown at the National Theatre.

The jury's reasoning: What a solo, super lady! Frost illuminates an important, untouched topic with humor.

The jury

The jury consisted of six of the editorial members from Unge stemmer.

From left:

Gaia Prestø Nielsen (18 years old) first joined Unge stemmer when she was in 10th grade at Nittedal Junior High School, with whom the Showbox Festival has had a regular collaboration for many years. She has continued to watch and write about theater, and is training to become a pastry chef.

Fiona Åtland (20 years old) is from Drammen and has studied drama at St. Halvard. She currently lives in London, where she works in theatre. She has also been a theatre assistant for people with disabilities.

Aksel Ruud Raustøl (19 years old) is from Asker and developed an early interest in theater at an international school in China. He has taken that interest with him to the drama program in high school, and now to the bachelor's program in screenwriting at Kristiania University College. Aksel loves to write; everything from screenplays, poems to analyses and reviews.

Anna Vestrheim (18 years old) is from Oslo, and has just finished high school where she studied drama. She is now waiting for a year at Romerike Folk High School. She is a member of Natur og ungdom, and the drama group Bærmuda.

Rose Nkeiruka Aguta (21 years old) is from Oslo. She has been the leader of Groruddalen Youth Council for several years, and is now studying law. She is very interested in theater, and wants more young people to be interested in theater.

Filip Jørgensen (16 years old) is from Spikkestad and is studying drama at St. Halvard in Drammen. He has been involved in theater for a few years, and is particularly fond of theater with a good sense of humor.
