Påkemon with Å was a fun experience.

In Påkemon, the audience and actors helped to create a great atmosphere in the auditorium. It showed the journey of Aesch Ketchup, and how he fought against the evil dictators who captured all the meerkats and made new best friends along the way, something he has never had before. There were elements of humor, singing and dancing, funny sound effects and use of costumes. On stage there was little scenery and props, but they made it a good experience by using air props. The actors did a very good job and played their roles well. There were also a lot of good sound effects added when they made grimaces and movements, for example. It really brought out the anime and manga part of Pokemon. It was fun when Eeyore Ketchup tried to catch Pikachu inside the pokeball and every time it didn't work, he always made a weird face with a funny and confusing sound effect behind it. We also thought it was funny when the actors jumped around or moved and sound effects were added. It was a part of the play that made an impression on us. At the start of the performance when Æsj and his uncle were on their way to school, they did a cool effect by having some of the actors carry trees and poles that made it look like they were walking on a road. During the performance, air props were used several times, where they often added sound effects that made it feel like the object was actually there.

Lots of good humor

There was a lot of humor in the play and you could hear the audience laughing several times. They brought out the points of the performance with singing, music, sound and the characters' personalities. There were some jokes that older people laughed at, and some that younger people laughed at. "We felt that there were some jokes that were better suited to older people, but that the children didn't notice. If there was a joke that the younger ones didn't know about, they didn't look very confused, but just pretended not to notice. The laughter quickly spread around the hall. We especially liked the Ronaldo joke where first there was an audio recording of one of Ronaldo's games where he scores, and then everyone shouts the iconic "Siuu". We saw that it caught many people's attention considering that he is the best football player in history.

For all ages

This play is well suited to all types of age groups, they captured us throughout the performance. We'd say it's suitable for those born after the year 2000, as they may have grown up with Pokemon. Many of these generations have collected Pokemon cards and later watched series and movies. It was fun that they included catching Pokemons, like in the games we played when we were younger and which are still in use now. This show fits well since most people have a relationship with Pokemon. Both children and parents can watch this show because of the nostalgia parents may feel. Trends often come back in later generations and Pokemon is one of the ones that comes back particularly often. The fact that they have kept the concept of Pokemon, but at the same time given it a little twist with both humor and the themes of friendship and loneliness is very well thought out and implemented.
