Christine Sandtorv played at the Rabalder Festival in Molde with her band Stjerneteller, which consists of Yngve Sætre (keyboard), Iver Sandøy (drums) and Inge Joakim Rypdal (bass/guitar). They played many good children's songs that were perfect for the audience that was there. The children's songs covered many different themes that seemed to interest the children sitting in the audience.

Christine Sandtorv is an artist from Bergen. In 1994, she co-founded the pop trio Ephemera with Jannicke Larsen and Inger-Lise Størksen. There she is the main songwriter and has written many songs, including the hit "Girls Keep Secrets In The Strangest Ways". In 2006 she made her solo debut with the album First Last Dance. And in 2009 came the first album in the series Stjerneteller. Since then, she has made several albums in the Stjerneteller series. She also won the Spellemannsprisen in 2012 and 2014 with the albums Gullamanter and Dinomaur from the Stjerneteller series.

The concert

The concert was performed well with good empathy. They talked to the audience and introduced themselves with stories that made the children feel even more involved in the performance. They also had really cool little plays that told us about the theme of the next song.

What the children seemed to like best was the part where the thief came on stage and stole Christine's sweets. The children got really involved and started shouting to warn Christine, which fitted perfectly with the detective song that followed and solved the mystery.

During the last song, Christine asked some dads to come on stage and dance to the dad song. And it was really embarrassing when my dad ran up on stage and started dancing.

Judging by the faces of the children, the concert looked very successful. They really enjoyed themselves and had fun. The only thing they didn't like was that the concert lasted a little too long. It became a bit obvious when someone started to leave a little before the concert was over. But the children looked very happy anyway and I would recommend taking children between 3-8 to this event.
