About us
Scenekunstbruket is a national provider of professional performing arts for children and young people. We work to develop and strengthen the performing arts field for this target group. Our goal is to ensure that children and young people in all parts of Norway, regardless of background and place of residence, have the opportunity to experience professional performing arts.
Scenekunstbruket was founded in 1994, and every year we present more than 2,000 performances to over 200,000 young people.
Scenekunstbruket is a member of Balansekunst and holds the Balansmerket. It is important for us to do our best to be at the forefront when it comes to an equal and diverse cultural life, and that in all parts of our activities we look at routines and tools to prevent sexual harassment, discrimination and support inclusion. The Balansmerket contributes to raising awareness in this work and clarifies our responsibility.
