Scenekunstbruket announces an extraordinary round of applications for production funds, aimed at new productions of professional performing arts for children aged 9–12.

Children aged 9–12 are in an “in-between” space, where there are major changes in maturity, interests and thematic orientation. This can make the target group difficult to define both artistically and in terms of communication, and they often end up in combination with either younger or older target groups. With this call, we are looking for applicants who clearly focus their work towards this age group.

The production may be aimed at parts of the target group and does not need to encompass the entire age range. The performance must be able to be sent on tour.

Practical information:

  • You can only apply for new production.
  • aimed at children aged 9–12 years
  • Application deadline April 9th at 1:00 PM

The same application portal and guidelines are used as in ordinary application rounds for new productions for Scenekunstbruket's production funds.

In this extraordinary application round, NOK 700,000 will be distributed. Scenekunstbruket does not fully finance.

The funds now being announced come from projects that have not been implemented for various reasons, in addition to a remainder from our anniversary celebration in 2024. This reallocation has provided room to establish an extraordinary application round, despite the fact that we have not received any increase from the granting authorities.

NB! There is also a regular application round for Adaptation or resumption of existing productions for touring , with a deadline on the same date.
