This was a show about a girl who often got angry and thus got an "ugly face", which further led to her being called "the girl with the ugly face" by her friends. One night, she dreams that she's out with Jan the hobo. They talk a bit about what life is like on the streets and how you can feel the need to just disappear and leave your family and friends behind.

This performance had a good message. It showed how you can feel when someone says something that can be perceived as sinister. It went so far that she wanted to leave home and live on the streets to avoid seeing them again.

"When we saw this performance, we thought that the main character was very good at showing her emotions, both with body language and facial expressions, and when they mixed in humor, the performance became very funny. Both children and adults laughed. It's impressive that they managed to include all age groups and adapt to all ages in general. The music was fun, and the man who played the guitar impressed many and created a great atmosphere.

We feel that children can get a lot out of this show. They learn what they shouldn't say, and what ugly actions and words can inflict on others. This performance shows bullying from a different perspective, we are used to seeing that there is often a good guy and a bad guy, especially in children's shows. But here they showed that you can often be a little guilty of it yourself too, and that there is always something that could have been done differently. This piece can be associated with the golden rule "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".

Something we all strongly agreed on was that the theme of the show was very realistic. It could have been a real experience and you could relate to it. They didn't exaggerate in any way, which is why I (Stine) think that many people felt that this was incredibly realistic and that you can recognize yourself.
