Around the World in 80 Days is a play full of humor that is easy to understand for everyone

From novel to stage play

The play is based on the novel Around the World in 80 Days, written by Juels Vern, about the British gentleman Phileas Fogg who makes a bet that it is possible to travel around the world in 80 days. Together with his assistant Passepartout, they embark on a long and complicated journey by boat, train and hot air balloon.

The production is made by Feil Teater and performed by three people, who play different characters such as geisha, assistant, police, and scientists.

An adventure across several continents

We follow a play full of humor that is easy to understand for everyone and an adventure across several continents where they use simple tools for quick changes and comedy. The audience laughs especially when one of the actors asks a 5-year-old in English where he can find a restaurant.

Although the audience today was made up mostly of adults and young people with few children, it was easy to understand that everyone had a good time and left the theater with a smile.

I would recommend the show for everyone from 5 to 10 years old, but also for those who are older.
