For the eighth consecutive year, Scenekunstbruket organizes the performing arts festival SHOWBOX, a festival with a focus on children and young people. On this occasion, we also launch the blog Scenekunstbrukets Unge Stemmer.

For the eighth year in a row, Scenekunstbruket organizes the performing arts festival SHOWBOX, a festival with a focus on children and young people.

This year's festival takes place in Oslo from Monday, November 26 to Thursday, November 29, 2012.
SHOWBOX is an open festival for all interested parties, and an arena for performing arts. SHOWBOX is a meeting place where performing artists, organizers and other interested parties gather in a variety of performances, conversations, discussions, speed meetings and presentations.

During these four days, you can experience more than 18 performances, seminars, presentations, conversations and socializing. We present several different genres of performing arts, ranging from documentary theater, puppetry, dance, theater and performance. You will find a detailed overview under Events.
The festival is organized in collaboration with Black Box Teater, Teater Manu, The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet, Dansens Hus, Det Andre teatret and Nationaltheatret.

In this blog, you will read the impressions of a group of young people from Nittedal Youth School, who will be following the festival, both before, during and after.
