Elle Maija is a singer from northern Norway who jokes and sings, both in Norwegian and in Northern Sami. She is 32 years old and comes from Karasjok, she started making music about 2 years ago.

We thought she played well and it was a child-friendly concert. She told a story while singing that she told in a way that made it possible for children to understand, so everything was more connected.
She included the audience in a good way, where she, for example, made them howl like wolves and clap.

It hit the target audience, but the sound level could have been muted a little, as it was a little too loud for children aged 6-9.

We interviewed some primary school pupils and they said it was great and thought it was fun when they had to howl. We also asked them if they thought it was nice that they got time outside of school to be involved in things like this. They thought so.

For being so small, they were very good at explaining that they thought it was a good concert!

When we talked to Musikkantennene, they said much the same thing. They said it was a good concert and that Elle Maija sang well. They agreed that the sound was a bit loud, but otherwise they thought it was fun when she included the audience and thought that the concert was suitable for the target group.

A Music Antenna is a child who watches a selection of concerts and conveys his or her immediate experience to adults attending the event - without any filter or direction. The Music Antennas are particularly fond of specific questions from the adults.
