Yesterday (28.11.2017) we saw the opening performance of showbox 2017, which was "The Basement" by the Dutch group De Dansers. It was an energetic performance with a lot of use of modern dance with elements of song and music.

The performance is about six troubled young people who have shut themselves off from everything and everyone. The dance and music matchBilderesultat for the basement of dancers with the emotions of the characters, whether they're happy and positive, or frustrated and scared. We can see how human contact can lead to cohesion and counteract suspicion of the outside world.

Before the show, we were excited about how they were going to use both music and dance, and we were looking forward to seeing the first performance of the week. We thought that since it was the first thing on the program, it was going to be something on its own, which it really was.

The dance tickled love, friendship, arguments and everything in between. The mood and the music created an exciting and excited atmosphere. The choreography was resilient, technical and interesting, with lots of couple and group dancing.

Immediately after the performance, we felt positiveBilderesultat for the basement of dancers surprised, energized and inspired. As I said earlier, it was really something else. What made it unique was that the dancers acted as both actors and musicians, and the way they switched roles fluidly throughout the performance. This made the production feel very dynamic.
