The first performance we saw at Showbox was the performance "I wish her well". This was an interesting performance and was held at the dance house. There was a good atmosphere, and with an almost full hall, our expectations rose!

This performance featured impressive dance skills and a strong story. The dancers expressed frustration, anger, unhappiness and joy, while at the same time you could see that they were fighting an inner battle with many emotions. At least this is how we interpreted it.

The performance was divided into two, so that it suggested two different stories. This could be a bit confusing, but it was easy to empathize with both stories. Both were based on several women's personal stories. Even though there wasn't a clear story from beginning to end, it was possible to put together a picture where the plot emerged.

The effects they used were good, including lighting and sound. We liked that they used voices in the background of the music and the scenery they used. The effects really helped the understanding of the performance and made it even more exciting and interesting! The story became deeper with props, and you got more into the story in a way that would have been difficult without them. The dancing and body language were impressive.

Even though it was a good show, it became a little too one-sided in the long run. It's probably better suited to those who are a little older than us.
