Today we started the day with Fiction. This is a show that we have been looking forward to for a very long time, because it is different from what we are used to seeing.

It started with us being given headphones on the way into a small dark room. A short movie was shown that showed us where we were in this "dream". After a short while, the lights were turned off and the room was completely pitch black. It was so dark that we couldn't tell the difference between having our eyes open or closed. A woman's voice whispered in our ear, it felt like she was sitting right behind you. It was a strange feeling because we couldn't see anything.

Our expectations were very much in line with what the show was like. It was dark, a little scary, unique, but most of all very exciting! Something that surprised us was the great 3D sound effects that made it sound like there were actors in the room with us. This was a special and uncomfortable feeling that is hard to forget.

After the performance, we were a bit confused. That's why we needed to talk to Glen Neath and David Rosenberg, the creators of Fiction. We wondered how they had achieved the different sound effects. They told us that the sound effects were recorded in different locations, such as the forest, in cars and several other places. This helped them to make us feel like we were actually out in the woods and in a car. They also mentioned that it took around 2-3 weeks to record the sounds.

This was an abrupt and slightly unexpected start to the day. Fiction was the first show we saw after the opening, and it certainly didn't disappoint.
