The test race keeps the excitement up from start to finish

Various obstacles

In this play you get to know 12-year-old Klara and her three parents: mom, dad and bonus mom. They are all three different, but want the same thing - for Klara to follow her dream of attending a school for talented young athletes.

When the test run is about to start, many obstacles arise. People who aren't supposed to be there are there, while those who should be there are not. Neither Klara nor the principal are there when the race is about to start, and together we have to find out why they're not there. Klara has traveled to Førde, while Principal Rask is stuck in traffic. The actors get us more and more involved in the play, and want to help them find their girl.

Lies and climate strikes

I thought this was a really exciting play, where I really recognized myself in several of the themes. The actors made you feel like this was actually happening. You wanted to help them find their girl. You could see on the faces of the audience that they were trying to come up with ideas and solutions. Both the young and the old were engaged and came up with many good ideas, which made me, among others, come up with more ideas.

After various revelations about the bonus mom's computer game addiction and the fact that Klara is on a climate strike and is angry with them, the actors gathered and we had to find a solution together. Among other things, we wrote the sentences that the three actors had written on balloons and read them aloud. The play ended with the actors traveling to Førde to pick up Klara.

Improvised voltage peak

Something that really impressed me was how good the actors were at improvisation. They had no idea what we were going to say and do, but they always knew what to do and say at any given time. If things went in a direction they hadn't thought of, they always had things that brought them back: a phone call from headmaster Rask, a message from Klara or assignments we had to do.

The play had excitement all the way through, but when everyone came together it reached its peak. The play was full of plot twists that kept it from getting boring and kept the tension high all the way through. Even though you didn't quite know when the play started, it was one of the best plays I've seen.
