"What we do not see" is a memorable performance with Panta Rei Dance Theater. It was the last performance we were going to see on Wednesday night. We were all excited about this concept. This performance was to take place in an ordinary apartment in Grunerløkka. When we arrived, we stood outside the entrance to the apartment with other interested parties. The apartment was lent to us by a normal family who lived there, just for this performance. Suddenly, a lady came out of the door and showed us in. Inside there was someone singing, and chairs scattered around the living room. The audience sat down and were excited, until four dancers moved out into the living room and started the show.

The performance "What we do not see" opens with four dancers coming out of a door and starting to dance around the room. The dancers use the entire apartment as a stage. Several of the scenes were in the bedroom, living room and even the kitchen. So we were dragged through the various rooms. Among other things, the dancers use eye contact as a strategy to engage the audience. The dance symbolizes ordinary everyday life in a home. This is done in a very artistic and creative way. We were drawn into the story the dancers were trying to tell.

We were impressed by how well the dancers connected with each other and the audience. They conveyed the dance in such a way that it was very interesting to watch. We really liked that the performance was in an apartment. This was a type of performance none of us had experienced before. We recommend the performance "What we don't see" for 15+, but everyone can enjoy this performance. Many thanks to the dancers, choreographers and singer.
