We have seen the performance Duologie. Duologie consists of Laurent Mair and Emilie Calme. They are a duo from France and they play both flute and harmonica. They don't speak in the performance, which we think is good because it gives you a better impression of how important body language is. It was also very exciting to see how they conveyed the message without words and how they communicated with each other and the audience.

In the beginning, they played the instruments separately, but as the show went on, they started playing with each other. When they played with each other, it sounded better so we think the message is that you're better with more people than alone. They also had a playful role play and challenged each other. The age group was 6-12 years, which we disagree with because we felt it was more suitable for adults and very young children. We think that children between 10-12 would have found this performance boring, because they have become more mature to this type of humor. Adults understand the message and see the show from a different perspective than children.

We think the performance was also suitable for the little ones, because the duo communicated with the audience and this engaged the children. We asked a student who is 12 years old what she thought of the performance and she said: "I thought it was boring and not suitable for the age group." What pulls it down is that the ending didn't quite fit the concept. There was a common thread running through the whole show except for the ending. It could have suited another theme or another performance, but not this one. They repeated quite a lot of the content and there was little variation. Something that made it a bit boring to watch the show.
