We were lucky enough to get an interview with one of the actors, whose name I unfortunately didn't get, and director Yngvild Aspeli.

Did it take a long time to learn puppet control?
We went to a puppetry college in France, which is an entire education. There is work experience after that with many different projects like this one.

How did you make the sets and how long did it take?
It was a big project to make them since there were 20 characters in total. We spent about two months on this.

How long did the entire production take?
The planning took about two years, but the actual production took about two months.

What did you want the audience to leave with?
"We wanted to work with the theme of the boundaries within the human mind. Between madness and normality and where the line is drawn. What makes one person cross over to one side while another crosses over to the other side? We also work on the forces within the human being.

Did you feel connected to the character in any way?
Since I played both the pyromaniac and the author, I feel connected to both characters. That's what we're working with in the show. That there is a mirror between these two characters.

What was the message of your thoughts?
"It's the dark forces inside a person and seeing how everyone has these boundaries inside them and about loneliness and madness and not belonging and not quite being able to be part of a society. How forces can go from being something creative to becoming something destructive. That's also the difference between the pyromaniac and the author. That the forces are the same, but that they have different outcomes, so that even though there are differences, we can link them together.
