The aim of the project was to facilitate more engaging and inclusive theater experiences and strengthen the voice of young people in the public conversation about art. How can we drive audience development for young people in non-commercial art forms? How can we create an active and critical youth audience for contemporary performing arts?

The project engaged widely and strengthened the position of young people in the performing arts as audiences, critics and premise providers. TEEN developed some specific conversation methods, including Kitchen Table Talk, which has been widely used. The project was further developed with TEEN2: Teen Ambassadors Across Europe, which you can read more about here.

The project was supported by Creative Europe. The partners were Segnia d'Infanzia from Italy, Teatercentrum in Denmark, Norsk Scenekunstbruk and the University of Lisbon, Portugal.
