The winner has educated and supported a whole new generation of performing artists who have become an essential part of the Norwegian performing arts landscape - also in DKS. The host company succeeds in outreach to new audiences and new artists, largely by virtue of being who they are and operating as they do. The Golden Wolverine Honorary Award

Billy Easy

Over the past 20 years, Scenekunstbruket has seen a fantastic development in Norwegian performing arts for young audiences.Much of this is due to better financial conditions, especially through nationwide dissemination, good organizers and opportunities within the Cultural Rucksack. The Gulljervens Honorary Award 2022 goes to a person who for many years has worked with the dissemination of performing arts with great commitment.

The award winner has worked with the dissemination of performing arts since 2000, and has always shared her knowledge with joy and broad relevance, and has been a driving force for the work that all of the country's counties do in the dissemination of performing arts to be developed - on behalf of performing artists, organizers, school students and art. Since its inception, the recipient of the honorary award has raised the specific challenges of touring performing arts for discussion, which has contributed to performing arts having the central place in DKS that it has.

The award goes to a person who doesn't let the challenges the rest of us tear our hair out over lie, and who has courage and good humor. With knowledge and curiosity, he delves deeper into history than most people are able to keep up with, and his expertise and commitment have been more important than we think he realizes. In the early 2000s, when Scenekunstbruket developed a pricing system to ensure good touring conditions for performing arts companies, he was an important partner in this work.

Knowledge, commitment and humor in beautiful union characterize this year's honorary award winner who has also seen countless performances and participated in more professional meeting places and discussions about performing arts for young people than most others. He has also participated in every Showbox since the festival was first organized, and this year he will also participate in what will be his 18th Showbox - which is probably a world record!

So, on behalf of several generations of school pupils, performing artists and not least those of us who work with the development and dissemination of performing arts to young people, a big thank you to long-time advisor and producer for DKS in Telemark,Billy Lätt.
