After introducing themselves, the performance starts. We were slowly drawn into their story. First we heard some faint sounds, which reminded me of the sea, and then in came Tomas Nilsson, Marius Søbye and Bjørn Skansen with sequin jackets and antenna-like ears. In their hands they had a synthesizer pad that they sometimes let the audience play on. After a few rounds, they stopped and started playing on a larger synthesizer pad. It was like they were playing on air. After they had played alone and together, they switched instruments. This time it was 3 handheld drums. They stood in a triangle and played on their own and the others. When they had been doing this for a while, they stopped abruptly and we heard a ticking sound, like a bell. Tomas, Marius and Bjørn now have a Spanish-like instrument in their hands. They first play for the audience to my right, and then to my left. They then go back to the big synthesizer pad. I think they play well together and you can hear that they have practiced for a long time. Finally, they finish in the same way they started. They put their ears back on, walk around and shine their lights on the audience. The ending is clear and good.

My conclusion is that this is definitely a show for children aged 13-18 and one I would recommend. I can see why they are one of Scandinavia's most famous percussion ensembles. With their spectacular sounds and amazing instruments, they have put together a show with the help of international and Norwegian composers - which works extremely well.
