Fuga Tango Fuego is an exciting concert that both tells the history of tango and shows how the dance works. The music is played by Per Arne Glorvingen on bandoneon, Mari Birgitte Bølgen Halvorsen on violin and Steinar Haugerud on double bass. All the way from Argentina come Pablo Inza and Sofia Saborido, who dance tango.

"It's a very educational concert, while keeping it interesting and fun. The humor used is well suited to the age group, and they use a very good method to get the audience involved. Tango is a fast and beautiful music, and you get a good explanation of how it came about. Pablo and Sofia also do a good job of explaining how to learn the dance, and that it is often an improvised dance consisting of a leader and a follower. The concert is played just as well in a large hall as in a small one, and the contact the band has with the audience works even if they are sitting far away. This is a performance I recommend for anyone over the age of 13-14, and the band and dancers have a light, positive impression on the audience that is suitable for almost everyone.
