Young Voices is a website where young people between the ages of 13 and 20 can register and write about the performing arts they experience, both at school through the Cultural Rucksack and in other arenas.

Young Voices is now available to young people all over the country. Small youth editorial boards are planned in several places, and more and more people are signing up to write. We at Scenekunstbruket have created a small info flyer that we are happy to send you.

The curriculum: Young Voices can, for example, be used in Norwegian lessons and stage & screen, and can be a good tool for getting students to reflect and interpret different genres and expressions. It contributes to online literacy, the use of blogging tools and provides an opportunity to explore different literary genres such as articles, chronicles, interviews, reports, essays, columns or stories. By expressing their opinion publicly online, and also experiencing that others than the teacher read the text, students can experience a place in the public space and be part of a democratic society.
