Norwegian performing arts for young audiences impresses

This year, performing arts from Norway were in focus at the NOW festival at Art Space for Kids in Shanghai, which took place last week. In collaboration with Performing Arts Hub Norway, a number of Norwegian performances for the young audience were presented. "Several of these performances are in our repertoire or have been shown at Showbox, and it's great to see that they are now being shown in several places abroad. We've built up a good international network and every year a number of them come to Showbox. Norwegian performing arts for young audiences are all the rage, and how we in Norway think about art and communication is something many people are interested in hearing more about.

Digital festival participation

Showbox and Scenekunstbruket participated in the festival digitally. It's nice to be able to maintain contact with our colleagues around the world, even though we couldn't be there physically. We also sent a video greeting in which we talked a little about how important we think it is to give young voices a space to express themselves, gave a little sneak peek at Kloden Pilot, and not least we talked about how much we look forward to once again being able to invite international guests to Showbox.
