We are adjusting our rates in the price calculation for productions in our repertoire by 4.9%. The new rates are in line with wage growth over the past two years, as well as KS's recommendation for rates within the Cultural Rucksack.

As a member of the Norwegian Theatre and Orchestra Association (NTO), it is important for Scenekunstbruket to help ensure that clients in our distribution network provide artists in various forms of employment with security and predictability in the form of decent pay and working conditions. For the most part, the NTO institutions as employers set the standards for commissioning conditions in their areas, and we want to follow the same standards as far as possible in Scenekunstbruket's price agreements with artists.

Scenekunstbruket draws up binding price agreements with the artists for the performances in Norsk scenekunstbruk and adjusts the price agreements annually in accordance with the price and profitability calculation factor for allocations to cultural institutions in the national budget and the wage regulations of the trade unions. Reference is also made to a separate agreement from 2015, entered into with the Norwegian Actors' Association (NSF) and Norwegian Dance Artists (NODA) on adjusting the fee rates.

This means that we, in our price calculations for productions included in Scenekunstbruket's repertoire, adjust the fee rate from the 2015 level of NOK 3.718,- to NOK 3.899,- effective from 1.8.2017.

For theater institutions that are covered by the current agreement between the Norwegian Theatre and Orchestra Association/Spekter and the trade unions, rates in accordance with this are used when setting prices.
