As the first merged county, Trøndelag has entered into a new agreement with Scenekunstbruket. Irene Rosenblom, coordinator in the Department of Culture and Public Health, Section for Art and Culture, says : "Trøndelag County Council wants to continue the agreement that both counties have had, because it is nice to be associated with Scenekunstbruket as a professional actor with a quality-assured production bank and opportunities to get reimbursed for expenses."

Scenekunstbruket has a member network of county councils and their local organizers.
The network currently covers 17 of 18 counties.

Incentive funds

Organizers in the network receive incentive funds from Scenekunstbruket. This means that the organizer is reimbursed up to 50 percent of the total expenses for performances selected from Scenekunstbruket's repertoire.

The organizer

Organizers are free to use the repertoire overview to select performances. The organizer contacts the group/performer and arranges any gigs/tours. Organizers in Scenekunstbruket's member counties should contact their county council for possible connection to existing schemes.

Repertoire and quality assessment

Scenekunstbruket sees and assesses the quality of performances in collaboration with our artistic council and in dialogue with the cultural contacts in the counties. We emphasize artistic quality, and that the repertoire should show a diversity of expressions and formats. More info about the artistic council can be found here.
