Scenekunstbruket has entered into an agreement with Oslo, which means that all counties in Norway are part of our network.

Kristin Falck, Head of DKS and Practical Aesthetics in Oslo, says: "Scenekunstbruket represents a solid professional network that is important for quality development in Norwegian performing arts for children and young people, and highly relevant for DKS Oslo to be a part of. Scenekunstbruket also has a production bank with a professional level, and an incentive scheme that has proven to work well over time and has contributed to the professionalization of the field. At DKS Oslo, we are therefore very pleased to be part of Scenekunstbruket and look forward to contributing to this community in the future."

National professional environment

Scenekunstbruket is a national competence center for the field of performing arts for children and young people. We contribute to the development and strengthening of the field of performing arts for children and young people, and create forums where new ideas, experiences and discussions can be shared and provide common references. We place great emphasis on collaboration, audience development, discussion and national and international projects. We have a member network of county councils and their local organizers covering all counties in Norway. Read more about Scenekunstbruket here.

Incentive funds

Organizers in the network receive incentive funds from Scenekunstbruket. This means that the organizer is reimbursed up to 50 percent of the total expenses for performances selected from Scenekunstbruket's repertoire.

Repertoire and quality assessment

Scenekunstbruket sees and assesses the quality of performances in collaboration with our artistic council and in dialog with our network in the counties. We emphasize artistic quality, and that the repertoire should show a diversity of expressions and formats. More info about the artistic council can be found here.

The organizer

Organizers are free to use the repertoire overview to select performances. The organizer contacts the group/performer and arranges any gigs/tours. Organizers in Scenekunstbruket's member counties should contact their county council for possible connection to existing schemes.
