Tutomaten

A story about two friends, Fox and Piglet, who have heard about a machine that beeps if you put in an empty bottle. They want to build a machine like that too! The two best friends decide that their Tutomat shouldn't be for empty bottles, but for full soda bottles that they can drink up afterwards. In addition to soft drinks, they also want other sweets. That's why they're adding a chocolate drawer, chewing gum flap and cake tray to the Tutomat. All you have to do is wait.......

In the story we also meet Dåsemiklene, Kråka, Kua and Fjompenissen Papp, and everyone has a clear idea about this invention. Tutomaten is a delightful tale of friendship, ingenuity and indomitable optimism. The fox and the piglet are the story's central protagonists, and everything that happens has its origins in these two embarking on their project. As a pair of friends, they complement each other, they face ups and downs with the slot machine, they communicate about the course of action along the way and they stand together, despite their differences, on everything. None of them would have started this project alone. The relationship between the two friends lies beneath the outer main plot like a sounding board.

The performance is also about ingenuity; the joy of building something yourself. The characters in the show are portrayed as puppets and masks. They are inspired by Per Dybvig's illustrations from Bjørn Rørvik's book, and the children will immediately recognize the two friends.
