The superheroes Snik and Snok are living the high life. They are celebrated by the people and enjoy their hero status. But one day the idyll is shattered when a huge flood of rubbish threatens the world!

The villain Skuggan, who is about to crash the moon into the earth, is blamed, and Snik and Snok take on the mission to save the earth. But is Skuggan really to blame for the littering? Will Snik and Snok be able to save the world from drowning in garbage? And will we humans really be saved?

The performance aims to shed light on how a focus on material goods and social status can seem a paradox to a collective climate awareness. Today's children and young people grow up with the concept of climate crisis and global warming, and everyone knows that something needs to be done, but there is no agreement on what. Today's individual-focused society is characterized by self-development and self-realization - closely linked to material status. Are we too self-focused to take the climate crisis seriously?

Snik and Snok on the moon is an interdisciplinary performance created in a colorful landscape of video illustrations, dance and music. A visual, sensory, auditory show from another planet.
