At seven minutes past midnight, Conor wakes up to someone whispering his name. The ancient yew tree in the garden has begun to stir.

"Once upon a time, there was an invisible man who was tired of not being seen. He wasn't really invisible, but people had gotten used to treating him as if he wasn't there. So one day he decided to make them see him.""How did he do that?""He called a monster? He called me."

Seven minutes past twelve is a story about stories, anger, imagination and vulnerability. About being young and the next of kin to someone who is seriously ill. About surviving your worst nightmare. About Conor, his mother, and an ancient monster.

Based on the novel "A monster calls" by Patrick Ness, which in turn is based on an idea by Siobhan Dowd (Norwegian translation: Monsteret kommer).
