From a diving board with flippers and swim bladders, the performers plunge into deep water.Where Nansen and Johansen turned around, Hestad and Slaatto take us towards the North Pole, under the ice, to the bottom, to finally plant the flag, the Norwegian flag.The performance moves between and across 3 perspectives.Inspired by Foreign Minister Jonas Garh Støre's statement on the three main strands of the northern policy: Activity, Presence and Knowledge.
