Oss

We are human beings. We are born. We live. We die alone. Humans are a social species, and we organize ourselves into groups. These groups are crucial to our identity. Most groups we are born into: Our nationality, our gender, the color of our skin, our sexuality and our class affiliation. Other groups we choose based on attitudes, and we acquire new attitudes through the groups we are part of.

Oss is about community and group formation. About joining in and about not joining in. About how community and togetherness are great - as long as you're in the thick of it.

In the performance Oss, the pupils become an active part of the performance by taking a stand on facts, claims and different attitudes. By turning on/off a light with their own light switch, the students show their opinions anonymously, while everyone can see at all times how many lights are on in the room, and thus how many people share their opinion on one or the other.

The performance is in Norwegian and easy-to-understand Danish.
