An intense and personal duet that unfolds between two male dancers. Power hierarchies and dynamics are explored through contemporary dance.

Power relationships are present in large and small groups of people and social relations. Behind the performance Power and Powerlessness is a Nordic composition of two dancers and a composer. Dancers Antero Hein and Tony Tran play two young men who are trying to find their role in their relationship with each other. They move in a physical and mental universe, constantly testing each other's limits. Do these two find their own identity and balance? Do they dare to look the other in the eye? How is one person shaped in the face of another? And what happens in the power play between them, does the oppressed remain oppressed?

Light and darkness play their own roles in this performance where the dancers carry spotlights and decide what to focus on. In the urban soundscape, melodies and electronic sound effects meet.
