The cockroach is afraid of bleeding, afraid of dying. But it is also afraid to live. Where can you find light and joy when autumn has made fun of the sun and the colors?

The performance tells the story of the little cockroach girl who suffers from autumn and winter depression. She's fine when it's spring and summer, but when the sun disappears in the sky, so does the light inside her. This leads her to believe that it would be better if she no longer existed. It must be better to be gone and feel happy than to be here and be sad, she thinks.

Luckily, she finds a friend who has had the same feelings. This friend shows Cockroach that there is a lot of light and joy in the world, even if the sun is gone from the sky. This is a show about a serious topic, but told in a safe setting with a cozy expression and a positive outcome.

The play contains large amounts of animation and shows a world where the actor interacts with the animated character and an animated world.

The show is inspired by the animated film of the same name - it has been shown at the Norwegian Film Festival in Haugesund and on NRK Super.
