During World War II, 70,000 children were evacuated from Finland to Sweden. The children were between the ages of 0 and 14 and came alone or with siblings; all with address labels around their necks. They were uprooted from their homes and placed with strangers with a foreign language in a foreign environment. Teater Grimsborken tells the story of Kaino through simple but strong effects, where the expression rests on the three actors. The actors master this form in a very good way. The production's topical theme is told in an unpretentious form, with an intensity and closeness that allows the audience to be drawn into the action and identify with Kaino and her family. The performance is supported by: NSF's Freelance Fund, The Fund for Performing Artists, The Audio Visual Fund, The Norwegian-Finnish Cultural Fund, Grünerløkka Deichmanske bibliotek and Fretex.
