This is an intense performance that touches on destructive intimacy, love and the relationship between people who depend on each other.

The performance brings together two male performers who, through body language and presence, challenge their boundaries related to power, friendship and dependence. They invite the audience into a playful and physical choreography that attempts to investigate the reasons why a relationship can be limiting, liberating, supportive and destructive at the same time.

With a movement language that generates metaphorical images and symbolic gestures, Jakob is the continuation of Tony Tran's ongoing research on power and identity in human relationships. How do relationships and duality work in relation to the choices we make as individuals? How does this shape our behavior, our individual actions and how do we meet the other?
