I try to do the dishes, I try to open the door, I try to meet you, I try to stroke your cheek, I try to understand, I try to matter, I try to run, I try to dance, I try to walk, I try to save the world, I try to be a good friend, I try to love you, I try not to be pathetic, I try to forget, I try to take the train even if it's cheaper to fly, I try to answer the phone, I try to remember, I try to hate you, I try to remember you, I try to say something important, I try to be angry, I try to do good, at home, at school, for you, at work, at the store, for the neighbor, on the bus.

"she nodded..." is a playful performance that uses both movement/dance and text. It is narrative, but without a linear narrative and is about a couple and their problems with communicating.

Rebekka Nystabakk and Huy Le Vo both have their background from the acting program at The Norwegian Academy of Performing Arts in Fredrikstad. The performance was produced as part of their graduation project at the academy, spring 2007. Kai Johnsen was the supervisor for the project.
