Hilde is starting a new school in the third year of upper secondary school. However, her teacher Halvard is not new to her. He was her teacher at the primary school where she used to live. In the familiarity that quickly develops between the two of them, she reminds Halvard of an incident where he allegedly kissed and touched her when she was 13 years old. Halvard denies that this happened; "...you were sad and I comforted you..."

Which of them is telling the truth? Can we trust our memory? And what makes me, as a spectator, choose to trust one over the other?

Newly written text by Simone Thiis and Thomas Bye based on the relationship between Hilde Wangel and Halvard Solness, from Ibsen's play Byggmester Solness - but in every way updated to our time.
