A colorful and humorous dance performance where many different dance forms are presented. Here is jazz dance, classical ballet, Broadway variations and folk dance from different parts of the world. Two older ladies dream back to the life they have lived and the different people they have met. Perhaps the ladies have lived a life of hustle and bustle, as farmer's wives or as beautiful showgirls! Is it all just a dream of an exciting life that was never lived? "Picked from the Blue" serves as an introduction to the diverse world of dance, and the students will experience that gymsalen , using simple means, has been transformed into an intimate stage. This way, students get to experience dance as a performing art in their own environment.

ONE HOUR ABOUT DANCE Lecture on the three main disciplines of dance: Classical Ballet, Modern Ballet and Jazz Ballet. Illustrations are provided along the way and students are engaged by being asked questions.DANCE WORKSHOPThis is 90 minutes of hands-on participation for students and teachers. It gives a taste of the three main disciplines mentioned above. In addition, improvisation assignments are given so that the students themselves can help to create something. This program can easily be replaced with whatever the individual school needs.
