Fyret
Klomadu teater
The Lighthouse is a portrait of the lighthouse keeper couple Pind and Roda, who have guarded the lighthouse on the small island at the end of the world, and the living room where their deeds and dreams have unfolded. Pind looks after Roda Roda looks after Pind Pind looks after the lighthouse and Roda looks after the little flower.
Klomadu Teater welcomes you to an atmospheric report from the island at the end of the world, to an hour filled with oddities, longings, resignation, humor and hope in the living room of the lighthouse. The performance is very suitable as a family performance.
The plot of the play is superficially simple, but the simple plot hides the big question of love, and the ability to see "the infinitely large in the infinitely small".
"Fyret" (The Lighthouse) is a collaboration between Engsteatret Gruppe 38 in Aarhus, one of Denmark's best-known theater groups, and Klomadu Teater. The play was originally developed by Gruppe 38, and has now been translated into Norwegian. Bodil Alling, Group 38's artistic director, directs this production, which is partly produced in Aarhus and partly in Hamar.
The production is supported by Norsk kassettavgiftsfond, Hamar kommune, Fond for utøvende kunstnere. It has toured for Skolesekken in Hordaland, Akershus and Hedmark, and has been invited as a guest performance to the Norwegian Lighthouse History Association, Teatret Vårt in Molde, Markedet for scenekunst in Sandefjord and Kulturmarkedet in Møre og Romsdal.
