Moritz Rabinowitz was a man who thought big and different - a visionary. He was a Polish-Jew and immigrated to Norway in 1901. In 1911, he settled in Haugesund. He opened men's clothing stores in Haugesund, Stavanger, Egersund, Sauda and Kristiansand, and in Haugesund he built Northern Europe's most modern clothing factory: CondorFabrik is a performance full of surprising visual elements and characters that appear at high speed. Fabrik will be based on historical events and Eastern European/Jewish and Norwegian fairytale traditions. The focus is on a family caught between two cultures at a time when the politics of Central Europe are turning against them. The specially composed music draws inspiration from the inter-war period and from Norwegian and Jewish mythological worlds. Wakka Wakka is based in New York and consists of three Americans and one Norwegian. They visited Norway in 2006 and 2007 with The death of Little Ibsen, and have created a stir with their performances for adults.
