Dråpene

Dråpene is a visual concert and performance in a landscape of water and colorful plastic objects. The main theme of the project is water, but also being able to sense in itself. The installation consists of a 2×2 meter pool containing colorful plastic objects. There are water hoses to wrap yourself in, jugs and tubs to pour from and into, water balloons, garden sprays, umbrellas, rubber boots, etc. Some of the objects are in and around the pool, others hang from the ceiling at different heights. Both visual artist Turid Ousland and dancer Steffi Lund are active performers in the piece. They work both musically and movement-wise based on the properties and qualities of the water and the object - in a series of choreographed actions that are influenced by the audience's presence and input.It is recommended that the children bring a change of clothes, as they are encouraged to explore both the water and the objects after the performance.
