All of us, children and adults alike, feel horror. We are frightened, but also attracted. With this in mind, Turnekompaniet has created an entertaining and scary (!) performance that takes this attraction seriously.

The touring company felt that the material for this production is so tough that the only possible way of communicating it was through storytelling as a form. This is basically not their form and they have not managed to stay away from a couple of the burlesque elements that are the group's trademark. But at least they manage to sit still for a few minutes!

The touring company has teamed up with two capacities: Swedish director/writer Pernilla Glaser and Norwegian composer Gunleik Groven. They have helped to give the performance an extra dimension.

The show consists of four stories, and is a mix of international stolen goods and a few local variations. They say that they have chosen to give themselves and the audience time, so the performance consists of two acts, each lasting 45-50 minutes. These are stories that spring out of dark autumn and winter evenings with the wind howling around the corners of the house, so we recommend buns and cocoa during the interval!
