"Once upon a time there was an old man and a little boy. They had had many adventures together. And one day they decided to sail far out to sea. They sailed where the waves are as big as mountains. Then they came to a fog. Suddenly they hit land. A land that is not on any map."

Grandpa has always told Tom fairy tales about the sea, but one day Grandpa tells him that he will soon disappear. Tom embarks on a journey into his grandfather's fairy tales to find the pearl of the sea, the only thing that can save his grandfather. On his journey, he gets help from a boat elf named Eike and he meets the blue-clad, but Draugen also wants the pearl. Can Tom get it and can he really save Grandpa from disappearing?
