The aim of the project was to challenge our own practices and work around what stories are told from the stage. What could the partners and artists learn from each other when it comes to taking risks, and do the practices in the different countries differ from each other? PUSH connected artists from all five countries and ran from 2019-2022.

The project included artistic laboratories, festival visits, network meetings, public events, a website and a documentary film. The artists were able to explore their own artistic practice in an international perspective, also through the covid years.

The project was supported by Creative Europe. Partners in the project were Imaginate from Scotland, Aaben Dans from Denmark, Culturcentruum Hasselt / Krokusfestival from Belgium, Scenekunstbruket from Norway, The Ark from Ireland and associate partner BICT Fest - Bangkok International Children's Festival from Thailand.
