New fee rates

The board of Scenekunstbruket has decided that Scenekunstbruket will follow the new rates for salaries and fees that appear in the new framework agreement (due from August 1) on assignments for The Cultural Rucksack (DKS) between Akershus County Council and Kunstnernettverket.

The board of Scenekunstbruket has decided that Scenekunstbruket will follow the new rates for salaries and fees that appear in the new framework agreement (due from August 1) on assignments for The Cultural Rucksack (DKS) between Akershus County Council and Kunstnernettverket. Several of the counties already adhere to this agreement in whole or in part, and Kunstnernettverket's goal is to establish similar agreements with all counties in Norway. Scenekunstbruket has also entered into a separate agreement with the Norwegian Actors' Association (NSF) and Norwegian Dance Artists (NODA) on the current fee rates.

This means that we, in our price calculations for productions included in Scenekunstbruket's repertoire, adjust the fee rate from the 2012 level of NOK 3.323,- to NOK 3.508,- effective from August 1, 2015, and NOK 3.718,- from January 1, 2016.

For theater institutions that are covered by the current agreement between the Norwegian Theatre and Orchestra Association/Spekter and the trade unions, rates in accordance with this are used when setting prices.

As a member of the Norwegian Theatre and Orchestra Association (NTO), it is important for Scenekunstbruket to contribute to ensuring that clients in the Cultural Rucksack guarantee artists in various forms of employment security and predictability in the form of decent pay and working conditions. For the most part, the NTO institutions as employers set the standards for commissioning conditions in their areas, and we want to follow the same standards as far as possible in Scenekunstbruket's price agreements with the artists.
