We are strengthening our administration to be able to meet an ever-increasing activity within our business area, and are therefore looking for a new employee as: COORDINATOR

Norsk scenekunstbruk AS is the largest nationwide distributor of performing arts for the age group 0-20 years, and is the national actor for performing arts within The Cultural Rucksack. Through quality assessments, we put together a repertoire of different scenic expressions available for touring. In addition to being a dissemination scheme and a link between performing artists and organizers, we are also a driving force for artistic development characterized by quality and diversity. We also manage the support scheme spenn.no, organize the annual festival Showbox and have recently opened our own TV channel: kanalscenekunst.no. For more information see www.scenekunstbruket.no

In addition to the general manager, Scenekunstbruket currently employs two advisors.

Work tasks
As a coordinator in Scenekunstbruket, you will contribute to the tasks that fall under our activities defined in the action plan, including coordination of communication and information work, including updating/maintenance of our web solutions, registration of performances, application writing, drafting of notes/input and practical/logistical work around the festival Showbox and other events.

Your background
We are looking for an employee with a relevant higher education and/or relevant prior learning. It is an advantage that you have knowledge of the performing arts field and have insight into and understanding of cultural policy processes and are good at expressing yourself in writing. In addition to being fluent in spoken and written English.

Employment
The position as coordinator is initially an 80% position, with the possibility of extension.
We are looking for employment from the fall of 2012. Salary according to agreement.
