PRODUCER

Delta k Østfold is looking for a producer in its dissemination work.

Delta k Østfold is a county business that carries out tasks for which Østfold County Council is responsible, such as the Cultural Rucksack, UKM, cultural cards for young people, the development of a network of cultural centers and the continuation of the opera/music festival initiative at Fredriksten Fortress.

The producer is part of a team of art and culture professionals who perform tasks for which Delta K has been delegated responsibility by Østfold County Council. This means that the position is very varied and with high pressure in special periods.

The producer will work both independently and in a team. This team has the artistic responsibility for everything Delta k Østfold does. This includes selecting productions, conducting rehearsals and practical follow-up of tours in relation to both venues and artists. Delta k Østfold wants to expand its focus on multicultural productions. The producer is also responsible for reporting to government agencies in accordance with cooperation agreements and letters of allocation.
Special tasks that are assigned to the position are:

- Special responsibility for productions within performing arts/media
- Keeping the press informed about everything Delta k Østfold does

We are looking for a socially conscious person with broad experience in the performing arts and media as well as good knowledge of the arts in general, knowledge of political processes and broad experience of working in the public sector. We place particular emphasis on experience from multicultural work. It is also important to have an understanding of society/culture, analytical skills, considerable flexibility, and the ability to cooperate and communicate. The applicant should have experience of cultural communication to primary schools and press work. Furthermore, emphasis is placed on good writing skills, experience in the use of ICT and the ability to work at a fast pace. Knowledge of foreign languages in addition to English is an advantage.

PRODUCER/PROJECT DEVELOPER

Delta k Østfold is a county business that carries out tasks for which Østfold County Council is responsible, such as the Cultural Rucksack, UKM, cultural cards for young people, the development of a network of cultural centers and the continuation of the opera/music festival initiative at Fredriksten Fortress.

The producer/project developer's main work will be in Askim, but will also be part of a team of art and culture professionals who perform tasks for which Delta K has been delegated responsibility by Østfold County Municipality. This means that the position is very varied and seasonal. The position therefore involves some travel around the county and especially to Delta K Østfold's office in Fredrikstad.
The Producer/Project Developer will primarily work independently, but must contribute to a certain extent to the teamwork. This team has the artistic responsibility for everything Delta k Østfold does. This includes selecting productions, conducting rehearsals and practical follow-up of tours for both venues and artists. The producer is also responsible for reporting to government agencies in accordance with cooperation agreements and letters of allocation.

Special tasks that are assigned to the position are:

- Build a network with the cultural centers in the county. Contribute to the team by programming the sales offer to these.
- Be responsible for the continuation of the work on the culture card for young people. The work involves continuing agreements with relevant suppliers for the card, building up a lasting structure and implementing special cultural initiatives to attract attention among young people.
