This week, for the first time, all first graders in the country will receive a comprehensive information brochure about the Cultural Rucksack to take home in their backpacks.

The aim of producing and distributing a joint brochure from the participants in the Cultural Rucksack is to tell the country's first-class parents that their children will experience art and culture in school from the start of the school year.

Ådne Sekkelsten, CEO of Norsk scenekunstbruk, is interested in what the Cultural Rucksack can mean for children and young people.

- For me, art is the small world that mirrors the big world. It touches my own opinions and prejudices, and makes me better able to see the world from different perspectives. I wish that all children and young people could experience the small world in order to better understand the big world," he says.

The brochures can be downloaded in Bokmål and Nynorsk to the right.
