Sustainability hero of the year: Frikar

The Sustainability Hero of the Year award goes to someone who has had a significant and long-term involvement in the field of performing arts for children and young people.

Not only have they created extraordinary performances, but their productions have also been used in innovative combinations where they perform their shows outdoors. The jury has emphasized their work over many years with exploratory performances that combine artistic creativity with and use of nature as a supporting element in the scenographic expression.

The company has distinguished itself in the field of performing arts by educating the public about Norwegian cultural heritage, and through performances, tours and courses they contribute to making our cultural heritage more sustainable.
