Wings - a poetic encounter with circus art. This is a non-verbal, poetic and "flying" performance that is about the courage to break out of familiar patterns and dare the leap into the unknown.Wings is inspired by Rolf Jacobsen's poem "You bird".You birdYou bird in me- I feel your wing.I feel your beak pecking - pecking against the sprinkles in my chest.I know you're a prisoner here. But wait a minute and you're a bird in me.Wings falls under the genre of contemporary circus - which is a visual and theatrical performing arts hybrid consisting of circus artistry, movement, music and theater art - put together in a scenic sequence. The music is specially composed by Ørnulv Snortheim and Egil Stemkens, who are also the musicians in the performance.A 5 min.
