The Wind Whispers is based on three actors, three suitcases and three fables by Aesop - The North Wind and the Sun, The Stag and the Hedgehog and The Oak and the Grass. The fables are a study in conflict between parties where power and strength are unequally distributed; the inflated cheeks of the north wind against the heat of the sun, the arrogance of the stag against the humility of the hedgehog, the majesty of the oak against the pliability of the grass. Teater Grimsborken asks; What is strength really? The production is performed as stylized narrative theatre with music. The linguistic form is bound, and the performance has a musical theme. The music is performed on hand-held instruments; uro, tin bowl with water, mouth harp and ukulele.
